Infinity License 1.0 for Commercial Use License author: Michael Feil Licensors: Infinity Core Contributors, each for rights they own or control. This is a custom source-available license. The applicable Adoption Notice identifies the covered rights and effective version. It is offered as an alternative to PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0. These terms do not limit rights independently granted under that alternative. 1. PERMISSION By accepting these terms, you may use, copy, modify, and distribute the covered code and documentation, including modifications and binaries, for commercial purposes, worldwide and without royalties for the duration of the contributors' rights. Each contributor grants only rights they control. Existing Apache, INFOIL, and third-party grants remain intact. No ownership, trademarks, or rights over model weights or outputs are transferred. 2. COMMERCIAL USE TERMS Commercial use, including ordinary enterprise use, is allowed on your own hardware or capacity supplied by an unlisted provider, subject to the restrictions below. You must not deploy or run the software commercially on the platforms listed in Appendix A, their rented capacity, or as part of their services. This applies to operators and customers, including private endpoints, rented GPUs, and single-customer deployments, regardless of billing unit. Commercial use includes business operations and product or service development, even before revenue. The list covers each named operator's hosting and compute platforms. Amazon Bedrock alone is listed, not AWS generally. AWS infrastructure (such as EC2), Microsoft Azure, Baseten, Google Cloud / AI Studio, Oracle Cloud, private hardware, and unlisted platforms are allowed. Listing follows a renamed operator or continuing service, not an acquirer's unrelated businesses. The list is fixed: no revenue test or automatic additions apply. The named permitted providers may operate their own deployments on hardware leased from listed operators if they actually manage serving. This does not permit deployment inside a listed service, including Bedrock. Routing, reselling, or relabeling cannot bypass the ban. Buying hardware, downloading models, storage, DNS, transit, and unrelated API calls alone are not deployment. 3. NO REWRITES FOR PROHIBITED DEPLOYMENTS You must not use the covered source, documentation, or design obtained from them to create, commission, or assist a replacement for a listed platform's commercial service or another prohibited deployment. This includes manual rewrites, coding agents, contractors, subprocessors, intermediate design specifications, and ports to C, Go, or any language, even before deployment. Employees and others acting for an operator also must not develop, test, or adapt the software toward a prohibited deployment. Employment alone does not restrict independent personal projects. General ideas, algorithms, independent development without these materials, independently licensed rights, and nonwaivable legal rights remain unaffected. 4. SHARING AND CONTRIBUTIONS Distributions under this commercial license must retain this license, Appendix A, PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0, the adoption notice, and third-party notices; identify changes; and offer covered modifications under both this license and PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 so recipients retain the same choice. Supply editable source and build/install instructions with the distribution, or through a free download available for at least three years after the last corresponding distribution. Credentials, customer data, separately licensed weights, independent applications, and standard tools are excluded from that source obligation. These distribution requirements do not apply when relying solely on the independent PolyForm alternative. Private modifications and network access alone do not require publication. API clients may retain their own licenses. Contributions intentionally submitted to this repository for inclusion are offered under both this license and PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 unless otherwise agreed; ownership stays with contributors. Relicensing or exceptions require the applicable rights holders' authorization, including for existing INFOIL-only contributions. 5. PATENTS, TERMINATION, AND LIABILITY Contributors license controlled patent claims necessarily practiced by their contributions, alone or in their submitted combination, to make, use, sell, offer for sale, and import the software for permitted uses. This patent grant ends if you bring a patent claim alleging the software infringes. Copyright permissions terminate on breach. A first breach cured within 30 days of learning of it restores them; later reinstatement requires the affected rights holders' permission. Compliant recipients retain rights. To the extent law permits, the software is provided as is, without warranty, and contributors are not liable for resulting losses. Unenforceable terms do not invalidate the rest. Later versions do not change existing grants.
